Stress affects the body and the mind. Mindfulness helps you notice tension early and respond to it calmly. You do not need much time or special equipment to start.

Three exercises for every day

Breathing break: Breathe in for four counts and out for six counts. Repeat five times.

Body scan: Notice your feet, legs, back, shoulders and hands one after another. Where do you feel tension?

Mindful routine: Choose one daily task, such as brushing your teeth, and give it your full attention.

Mindfulness is not about doing more. It is about noticing what is already there.

Building a habit

Link a new exercise to something you already do every day, for example your morning coffee. In therapy we help you find routines that really fit your life.
